HE is the God--Man, the unique Person of the Universe, undiminished Deity and true humanity in One Person forever--the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. At the virgin birth HE, the Second Person of the Trinity, took upon Himself true humanity as foretold in the Old Testament. HE is different from God in that HE is man, different from man in that HE is God. The uniqueness of Christ directs us to the truth that HE is our only way to God, the only way of salvation. HE is the "one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all."
